This is the best definition of love I have seen. Written by Paul about 2000 years ago, it still holds true today:
1 Corinthians 13:4-7
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”

Below is a recipe I made tonight for a Hot Cocoa Mix. I placed one serving plus some marshmallows in a bag into a cup that I got to give as gift. I placed the mix in the bottom, topped that with printed serving instructions, a pair of warm gloves and a little bag of candy.

Hot Cocoa Mix
5 servings1 cup and 2 tablespoons dry milk powder
1/2 cup and 1 teaspoon sifted confectioners’ sugar
3 tablespoons and 1/4 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder
3 tablespoons and 1/4 teaspoon powdered non-dairy creamerIn a mixing bowl, combine milk powder, confectioner’s sugar, cocoa powder, and creamer. Stir till thoroughly combined. Store cocoa mixture in an airtight container.
For 1 serving, place 1/3 cup cocoa mixture in a coffee cup or mug, and add 3/4 cup boiling water. Stir to dissolve. Top with whipped cream or marshmallows.

Tonight was the Christmas Potluck Supper at church. I ate way too much and couldn’t even eat dessert. Sean sat on Santa’s lap and then strangely so did Don!
