Small Group Love

I really would like to encourage my readers to get involved with a small group study. There is such a sense of intimacy as we study the Lord’s word and share our experiences and/or concerns that just is not present at a normal service. The small group that I attend is a place where I can really connect with other believers, a place where I’m not afraid of asking a silly or stupid question, a place where I have been growing and learning about the Lord. We pray for each other and celebrate our victories and as well examine our failures. Sometimes I feel closer to the group than I do with my own family.

Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another–and all the more as you see the Day approaching. (Hebrews 10:25 NIV)

If your church does not offer a small group study, start one of your own! There are many resources available online to let you know how to get one started.
